Allied Health Organization Pakistan (“AHO Pakistan,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates alliedhealth.org.pk, an educational platform supporting Allied Health Professionals in Pakistan through membership services, professional courses, and reference letter support. This policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, and the choices you have.
Information we collect: When you register for an account, apply for membership, enroll in a course, or request a reference letter, we collect information such as your name, contact details, professional background, and course progress records. If you purchase a membership or paid course, our payment processor collects the payment details needed to complete the transaction; we do not store your full card or bank account numbers on our own servers.
We also automatically collect limited technical information when you visit our site, such as browser type, device type, approximate location, and pages viewed, to help keep the portal secure and understand how members use our services.
How we use your information: We use your information to create and manage your account, deliver course progress and certificates, process membership payments and renewals, issue reference letters, respond to support requests, and improve our courses. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
Cookies: Our site uses cookies to keep you logged in, remember your preferences, and understand site traffic. Some cookies are set by Google Analytics and Google AdSense, described below. Data retention: We retain account and membership information for as long as your account is active, and for 3 years afterward to support reference letter verification and record-keeping. Course progress data is kept for 2 years so you can track your development over time. If you request account deletion, we remove your personal information within 30 days, except where we are required to retain certain records by law.
Your rights: You can ask what personal information we hold about you, request correction of inaccurate information, request deletion of your account and data (subject to the retention rules above), and opt out of non-essential cookies and personalized ads at any time. Children’s privacy: Our services are intended for adult professionals and students pursuing Allied Health careers and are not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
